Adjust as many eggs as will fit on the trivet inside the instant pot.
Next, pour in the water and the vinegar into the pot.
Close and seal the instant pot lid, make sure the seal function is SEALED. Set the pot on HIGH PRESSURE for 5 minutes.
Get a big bowl with ice water ready.
After the 5-minute cooking time, let the eggs sit for an additional 5 minutes while the Instant Pot releases pressure. After 5 minutes, take a large wooden spoon and QUICK RELEASE, by pressing the spoon onto the red button so that the remaining steam escapes. When the red button is down, you can open the lid.
Transfer the eggs to the ice bath for 5 minutes to cool completely.
